<\/span>Therapeutic Counseling Services<\/span><\/span>

\n <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>Therapeutic approaches are chosen based upon each individual’s needs and preferences, and are
\ndirected at the integration of the mind, body, and spiritual components of clients. As a therapist,
\nmy role is to provide feedback, offer support, and provide resources as a client explores their
\nconcerns, identifies solutions, and develops plans of action that best fit their chosen life journey.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sessions will focus on one or more of the following: self-awareness, self-assessment, choice,
\nproblem solving, and goal setting. Other areas of counseling may include an exploration of individual
\nempowerment and responsibility, personal values and life meanings, client strengths and limitations,
\nself-concept, acceptance, and change.<\/span><\/p>\n

Therapeutic adjuncts such as animal-assisted therapy, clinical hypnosis, and EMDR are utilized when
\n appropriate and, always, in close consultation with the client.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
